2009 – Europe

The Short Way Round

Europe was effectively a trial run for Australia and New Zealand to see how well planning a trip by ourselves like this would work. For this trip we planned to visit Berlin, Germany; and then to fly to Naples in Italy and to use the train to get from there to Rome, and then onto Venice before flying out of Milan to get to Athens in Greece. There were so many parts that could have gone wrong with tight connections, and there was a lot to see in three countries for one two week period.
